My period came 3 days later than it should have this month and only lasted 2 days instead of my usual 5. I had mild cramping the day before and a bit the day I actually started bleeding but the cramping stopped shortly after. One of the things I found strange was that my menstrual blood was bright fricken red, it looked like red kool aid almost (sorry tmi 🙈) and it was a very light period for me. I have prescription meds for the pain usually and I often have to have someone cover my shift at work the first day of my period because the bleeding is sometimes so heavy that it will start to run down my legs if I'm not wearing a pad with my tampon and the blood is usually dark red and thicker? After my 2 days of light bleeding I had brown creamy discharge until about CD 8-10 where for 2 days I was flushed, dizzy and nauseous and I had a brief moment of sharp pinching on my left side on CD 8 that passed after about 60 seconds and the next day I had a small amount of pink discharge when I went pee. I thought maybe I was ovulating earlier in my cycle but now I'm wondering if I missed something? Is it possible that my "period" was implantation bleeding? It seemed too heavy to be at first but I've never had a period that light and painless before . Any advice?
