birth crontrol

Not sure if this is the right group. Just trying to find some answers. I had my IUD liletta placed on March 26th of this year. This morning I was checking it like the doctor said after periods. When I went to check I was barely past my first knuckle and could feel it. Is this normal? I called the doctors office and they said they couldn't get me in until tomorrow. I'm freaking out a little. Any advice would be great!
