should i be worried..?

So i got my IUD placed on april 10th. it was fine at first but now i’m experiencing cramps that even a painkiller combo (ibuprofen and paracetamol) doesn’t relieve. and these are extremely painful, i can’t move and just lay in agony. so i wanna know, is it normal or should i seek help? more info: i have the skyla, been spotting the whole time and i have a checkup appointment with my gyno in mid may.
EDIT: I currently also have a UTI, don’t know if it’s related

It’s possible that it is trying to expel from you and is stuck in your cervix. See if you can feel your strings, they should only be about a half inch long. If you can feel the plastic top coming out of your cervix or if the strings feel very long, it’s possible that it is expelling. Also, go to a doctor or planned parenthood and have them check you. Maybe call and see if they can get you in sooner. Pain to where you can’t move is not normal with IUD. It could have moved or it’s coming out.

i was told that if i had any cramps that were untouched by pain meds, i should seek medical attention. maybe try seeing if your pcp or gym office has a nurse triage line, they can give you advice after obtaining a bit more info.
