Sporadic contractions for weeks?!

Has anyone had this happen? They are painful so not BH. It will be maybe 4 and then stop. Or 1 and then not another for a few hours. For the past 1-2 weeks I’ve gotten at least 5-6 a day every single day. Is this normal?! Didn’t feel a single thing until I was induced with my first. 37+1 and would really like my little guy to cook for another week or two but this is tiring!

I've had painful contractions for at least 3 weeks now. Sometimes they happen as frequently as every 8-10 minutes for hours a day, then just slowly fade out. I'm 40 weeks and only 2cm dilated 😕

I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one dealing with this. Only started at 32 weeks, 33w4d now. I didn't think they were BH because they frikken hurt! Like husband holding me up in a hot shower to try to relieve the pain. I didn't have this with my son two years ago, so this is weird for me. Honestly hoping to talk to my midwife about inducing soon due to my blood pressure anyway. Appointment's in a couple hours so we'll see. 😬

I’ve been having contractions for hours a day for almost two weeks now. I was 4 cm and 100% effaced at my appointment last week, so I’m progressing very slowly, but yes, it’s tiring. 😴 My OB said we can schedule an induction at my appointment this week if I want to since I’ll be 39 weeks. I really want to go naturally, but I don’t know how many more days I’ll have to go through these contractions before I actually go into labor. It could be today, it could be 3 more weeks! 😫
