After 11 years he finally gave me a ring!

After 11 years of marriage, 2 sons, a brake up that split us apart for 1 year and 4 months he finally gave me a ring. (Short story first kinda lol) He called it quits on August 31 of 2016. I've never stoped loving him and he wanted a divorce. After a few months he said he still needed time,a year passed and by that time I was still in love , and yet I asked him for a divorce. I told him I wanted to be happy and most important my children to be stable and happy. It hit him like a ton of bricks that he was going to loose us and this time it was going to be for good. All that time I lived with my parents and I thank them for been there for us when we needed them more than ever. He lived in our house and I gave him some conditions in order for us to move back in. We moved back in a couple of days after our anniversary and a few days before Christmas. Last week my oldest was in the living room my youngest was in my bed and I had taken a shower. I see him kneeling I thought he was looking for something lol he took my hand and he said " you have gone through so much from been a single parent to having been harassed by everyone and here you stand stronger that all of us. We married young and I never gave you a ring years passed and in my selfishness I never have you a ring. The thought that someone would take my place opened my eyes. Thank you for been the mother of my children. I love you and will always love you will you take this ring and be my soulmate for ever" I cried stood quiet and my oldest comes in says momma are you guys getting married again?just says yes! I look at my husband and I lean down and kiss him and I says yes! I'll be your soulmate for ever and ever till we grow old and our grandkids ask about how you cried me a river because I wouldn't give you the time of day lol. I'm living a life of happiness and I know now what we both did wrong. Everyday is a new day and we take it with a doze of love and we now under stand that what ever bothers us we speak it. I love my ring but I love him even more 😊 ❤️
