Hospital bag??

What do I pack in my hospital bag? I want to be prepared!

comfy clothes, nursing bras and nursing pads if youre breastfeeding, phone chargers, snacks for after babys born, coming home outfit for baby (i brought a newborn set and a 0-3 just in case). i majorly overpacked for my 1st. the hospital gives you so much stuff. the supply diapers and wipes, a toothbrush and toothpaste, soap and shampoo, even the pads and aftercare stuff you need for yourself. this time im just bringing clothes and my nursing stuff, my own toothbrush/shower stuff, phone charger, babys clothes,and a spare blanket/pillow (hospital blankets suck). some recovery rooms have dvd players too!

Everything! 😂 but seriously, enough for a few extra nights just in case of leaks from baby or your many post partum areas. I had an unexpected c section and had to send husband for more cloths so this time I’m planning a vbac but packing for a longer stay.

Definitely check to se what your hospital provides before bringing (pads, diapers, wipes, bottles, water bottle, food and snacks, etc.) 
A few outfits for you and hubby
Extra undies for both just Incase
Chapstick for labor
Pillow for hubby
Boppy pillow whether you’re breastfeeding or not
Couple outfits to bring baby home in (different sizes bc you just never know)
Toiletries for you and the hubby
Flip flops or cheap pair of slippers you can toss
Robe
Nursing tanks if you’re nursing
Cell phone chargers
Pacifiers if you choose to use one (this is the only thing our hospital didn’t provide for baby really)
If you have a heat wrap it’s amazing for labor (my hubby kept going and warming it up for me) **realistically that’s all I brought and needed plus so many people brought gifts we had enough crap to bring back home without all the extra unnecessary items!! We had my hubbys pillow and two small bags!

When I had my son I brought:
-a boom box to play soft spa music with 
-tablet to hook up to the boombox and surf the net while I did nothing 
-slippers
-a robe 
-night shirts to sleep in 
-hair bands 
-tons of underwear since I didn't  know how long I would be there 
- shampoo/conditioner/toothbrush/toothpaste
-clothes to wear when I left 
-baby stuff: diapers, take-me-home clothes, and a swaddle
