Baby Shower

I had my baby shower on Saturday. It was the perfect brunch with my good girlfriends and family. No silly games or awkward attention on me...haha, exactly what I wanted! Instead of games, we just enjoyed each other’s company and I was surprised with the sweetest collection of notes. Every guest was given a year and wrote a sealed note to give to her on her future birthdays. I now have a card to give her for the next 30 years from a special woman in her life. It was perfect. Then instead of sitting and opening presents for half the party, I took presents home to open with my husband. (I’m sure a few people were disappointed, but we opened up presents for two straight hours at home. I can’t imagine doing that at a party). It was such a perfect day and now feeling very prepared for little Emma’s arrival! Seven more weeks! 🎀
