Birth control

So I started birth control (alesse) almost 3 months ago, and my period still hasn’t synced to the sugar pills. I keep getting my period about a week-week and a half into my hormonal pills and it lasts anywhere between 7-15 days. With my first pack, I got my period really late and it lasted about two weeks. But since then I’ve been getting it around the same time(about a week into a new pack) so I’ve been taking the sugar pills when I’m not on my period at all. Should I see a doctor to consider switching brands? I have no idea what to do
