Do lactation consultants take insurance?

Has anyone used insurance to pay for a LC? If not, how expensive was it to see one?

For us it was covered under insurance but we have kaiser so everything is “in house”. They referred us to the lactation consultant when I got discharged and we were seeing them weekly for several weeks.

They'll need to be in network. And my insurance needs a referral from the pediatrician.
