There is always LH in your system so you will always get a line to some degree on your opk's. 
sometimes opk's can detect pregnancy, but it's not a reliable thing. When pregnancy has been detected on an opk the opk is a blazingly positive opk with the test line being waaaaay darker than the control.
BUT, lots of ladies do get another surge prior to af so testing for pregnancy on an opk is really a waste of time and a waste of a test.
As I said, not all ladies get it on an opk, test line should be incredibly dark, LH is in your system all the time, some ladies do get an LH surge just before af.
I'm 6w2d and to test the theory I had already gotten my bfp at 10dpo on a cheapie stick, I took an opk and the test line was incredibly faint - like almost not there faint. My friend did the same when she was waiting to test for pregnancy a couple of months ago and her opk was positive - though the test line was as dark as the control...she started her period the following day
