Urethral prolapse?

So I am 20 years old and just discovered via the internet that I have a urethral prolapse I do not have any children and my vagina has looked like this since I can remember, I have never experienced bleeding or any form of discomfort, I have realized that my urethral opening is toward the left side not in the center, you can’t even see it, I have scheduled my doctors appointment a week from today and it says that she should proscribe me an estrogen cream to reduce it, but my question is how does this cream even work, it’s the outside and not the inside, and also if anyone else has experienced this?
