getting induced with foley balloon at 39 weeks

hi! today I am 38 weeks. at my appt today doc said i was super soft and dilated to barley a 1.

i’m due may 14th but baby is measuring a week early and my doc is leaving town the 10th so he wants to induce me a week early (39 weeks) on Monday the 7th. he is inserting the balloon around noon and then sending me home. any advice from anyone who has had this method of induction? i’m excited to not have to be on pitocin and to be in the comfort of my home but i’m also a little nervous!
