Finally... I CANT ACTUALLY BELIEVE IT!!!

After 7 months of TTC it’s finally happened!! I thought the Mirena had rendered me infertile and I was beginning to lose hope.

For all you ladies out there losing hope- Keep going!!!

I said to myself at the beginning of April ‘Louise stop actively trying, stop being so aggressive about intercourse and only BD’ing when it suits me, stop tracking bbts, stop stressing yourself out about TTC- it’s not going to happen, be grateful that I have 1 child’. This month was the first month where I actually told myself to just RELAX. Very hard but possible 😂.

I was 2 days late for my period so tested. Very faint positive. As i am a midwife I have confirmed this today with blood work. My HCG levels are in the 200’s which means positive but very early on 3/4 weeks! I haven’t told my husband yet but am planning to do a romantic dinner surprise. This will be baby no2 and my little girl has been asking for a sibling for the longest of times. She’s soon to be 6. Congratulations to all of you out there!! I’m due on the 9th January by my calculations- Anyone else due around this time. Wishing you all a successful pregnancy. 😘
