First period post pregnancy

Had my baby 2 months ago and I’m breastfeeding. I started birth control after my 6 week postpartum check up and got my period yesterday. Since I started the BC my breast milk supply has gone down so I’ve been trying to boost it by taking fenugreek and eating the right foods.

My question is about my period... it has an unusual smell. Could this be because of the fenugreek? It used to smell like the typical blood and now it smells more like vinegar/ketchup (I know strange). Sorry TMI.

Has anyone experienced this change? Not sure what is causing it. Should I be concerned?
