refusing naps?

anyone else's May baby trying to cut out naps? My son is great at going for naps and going to bed but in the last week he's refusing to nap... he has a morning nap from 9 until 10am or sometimes 11 and that's it.. . he refuses to go down for his evening nap. all day he's super cranky and shouts and cries all day. yesterday he fell asleep at 5.30 while eating his dinner! hoping this is a phase!!

Mine has been off and on the last few weeks. At times really fighting the afternoon nap. And other times taking 3 naps again. Super unpredictable. I can tell she needs the 2, so I’m still going to fight her on that one.

My 11 month old has been fighting naps & even sometimes bed time. He never did start sleeping through the night, but he's been having at least one day a week where he sleeps at least 6-8 hours straight but the rest of the time he's waking up every 2-4 hours. He's been super fussy & whiny lately & no matter how tired he is, he fights naps 99% of the time. When/if he finally does go to sleep, he will only sleep between 30min-1 hour, when before this he would sleep at least 1.5 hrs or 2. I haven't been able to figure out if it's a growth spurt, a leap, a regression, or teething. He's had some teeth that look like they're getting ready to come in for a month or so now, so i figure that's got a little to do w/it. He normally gets up between 9 & 10am & naps around 11 or 12 till no later than 1:30 or 2 then naps again around 4 or 4:30 till no later than 6 or 6:30. We tried different times & even skipping a nap, neither of which did anything to help. Hoping its teething or a phase that ends soon

my little one has been sleeping longer overnight even though he been sleeping through from 4 weeks but since i started him on cows milk.... however now to get him to have a nap during the day HE WILL NOT SLEEP even if he tired and crying about being tired he will scream the place down if i put him in his cot for a sleep which is not out of the ordinary putting him in cot as have been doing this for a few months ... so he seems to have cut out his only nap he would have a day even though it only used to be for 15 -20 mins lol

Mine has been bad too but I wasn’t sure if it was due to trying to eliminate the pacifier or if he just wasn’t tired and didn’t want to sleep. They say he does fine at daycare but he was so bad last weekend for me. He actually didn’t nap at all until we were in the car. They were going to try giving him just one nap at daycare today and seeing how he does. So we will see when I pick him up.

Maybe try pushing the 9 o’clock nap to maybe after lunch so he’ll take one good long nap, mid day. My LO is still taking 2 naps a day but I had to adjust the second nap time on her because she was napping at 930-1130 and again from 130-330. She started not wanting to nap at 130 anymore so I pushed it back to 2-230 depending on the day and just even that small change worked and she still goes to bed at 7 and sleeps fine.

Could he have a tooth coming through? Mine does that when she’s teething. Or just going through a phase.
