Worse than a cold?

My ten month old is acting strange today.

Backstory: he stayed overnight with his grandmother who neglected to tell us that grandpa was feeling ill. But even when confronted it didn’t seem like more than a cold.

He slept all night, which is usual for him, but about an hour after he woke up he was sooo tired that he fell asleep for another three hours.

After that, he woke up, I fed him lunch which he ate but wasn’t happy about, and I realized he was warm. He had a fever and was snotting, so I gave him some Tylenol and used some baby chest rub.

Not half an hour later and he’s back in his crib asleep! Never done this before, and he even had the flu at 3 months old.

I’m trying not to panic but I have a bad feeling something worse is taking hold, I can’t even bring myself to prepare for dinner because my gut says we won’t be having dinner tonight.
