getting induced topic??

Question

so am due tomorrow an if my son doesn't arrive by Monday am getting induced.. can you ladies tell me how it feels an everything about getting induced your experience also please an thanks. I have no sign of labour so far.. and am 40weeks tomorrow 😘 NOTE: I know every one is different..

I got induced with my daughter at 37 weeks. It's different for everyone but this is my experience. my labor was almost 4 days long. Being induced (especially for your first baby) is a very slow, boring and exhausting process. I had to take a small pill every 6 hours to soften up my cervix. I did that for about a day and it got me dilated to a 4. I wasn't having horrible pain, but I was having very light cramping, nothing major at all. (While taking the pills, they had me walk the halls to help the process speed up) Since the pills helped me dilate so far (I wasn't dilated AT ALL when I first got there) the doctor decided to start piticon, and that's when shit got real. About an hour or two later, I was having horrible contractions. but I handled them pretty well. breathing through and focusing will save you with contractions! but I dealt with horrible contractions for about 2 days and I dilated to a 7 and I was stuck at a 7 for a very long time and I did it all natural up until this point.  then my doctor came in and said something along the lines of "hey you haven't made any process and your just going through all this pain for nothing, do you want the epidural?" I refused at first. I wanted an all natural birth and I was so proud of myself for making it so far with no pain meds. He said okay well then you are going to have to get a c section, because I guess being in labor for so long put me and the baby under stress. I didn't want the c section, so I got the epidural. it was absolutel heaven!!! for about two hours (I slept the 2 hours because I was up for so long due to pain)... then it randomly stopped working and the pain I felt was terrible. but it got me dilated to a 9!! so my epidural stopped working right and I told my nurses but they didn't believe me for some reason and we argued a little but I was in so much pain I just said fuck it and ended up dealing with it. So I'm to the point where I can start pushing, but she was stuck behind my pelvic bone so they had me get on my hands and knees and rock back and fourth to help her move, they had me doing a bunch of positions which helps with the pain alot! but then they have me lay on my back to start pushing and my epidural got ripped out of my back when I slid down to put my feet up on the sturneps! but after about an hour of pushing I had my little girl. it was worth it!

I was induced with my first and it was awesome!! loli showed up on a Monday morning at 5:30 am and they put they iv in me. about 2 hrs in the doc came in and popped my water manually. about an hr after I started labor. I had the epidural after about 45 minutes or so. the needle went in mid contraction so I didn't feel it at all. once the pain was gone I fell asleep. at noon I was woken up to push. he arrived at 12:36. I don't remember the delivery of the placenta but I was up an walking soon after.
