prenatal/birth classes

First time Mom here in Canada. Just wondering about prenatal classes/birth classes. Did you find them helpfu? Worth the money/time. While I've done plenty of reading and research I've obviously never given birth so my expectations are based off stories and such. I was present at my nephew's birth which ended in emergency C section. I've got a basic "birth plan" but I'm not gonna lose my cool if it doesn't happen that way, ultimately a healthy baby is the end goal here. And Im not joking myself into thinking this will be easy. family and friends have different opinions on of the classes were of any value to them.
