Experience on Nexplanon? I know every girls body is different, just want to know what CAN happen

I hated it, had one for 8 months, gained 30 pounds uncontrollably, even exercising and eating healthy, which has always worked for me with maintaining. 
Also had crazy mood changes, where I screamed at people over stupid things and cried all the time and got mad and never felt happy or content.
Also had no sex drive and couldn’t get wet.
Also, increased my blood pressure actually, that’s a scary one.
The mood swings were so bad that I was sent out of work one night thinking I was dying but it was just a panic attack, which I’d never had before
Umm lesseee, let me remember more of that hellish 8 months
Oh, well I did only have one period right after insertion but I kind of like having a period from time to time...
Oh and my arm would randomly fall asleep and ache, actually even a year after removal it still does randomly...
It sucked... 10/10 would not do again lol

I recommend going to "Birth Control: The Scoop" under the "Me" tab on the bottom right. Go to the implant and look at the info there, it lists everything you really need to know. There's also personal experiences at the bottom.
Ive had mine for 2 years and personally, I love it so much. Its one of the most effective methods, lasts 3/4 years and it was a great option for me because I suck at taking pills. The most common side effect is irregular bleeding so it can change your menstrual cycle. For me, the first two months it made my period longer and heavier. After that up til now I havent gotten a period though (which is also normal). It can take your body 6-12 months to get used to the hormones. I do get slight cramps and it also increased my sex drive. I didn't gain any weight and it didn't mess with my acne either. Totally love this method and highly recommend it.

I've had Nexplanon for about 2 years now. The first 8 months, I thought I went crazy. My moodswing is off the chart and I found angry side of me that I didn't know existed lol. And as the cherry on top, my sex drive is just... wasn't helping. But it's been great ever since, I love how sometimes I'd have monts without period. And my moodswing is not bad at all anymore and now I have more sexdrive than my husband.

For me, it's been a bit of a roller coaster. The first month was insanity. Practically every side effect in the book. Sore, swollen breasts, moodiness, depression, I dropped 10lb in under a week and struggled to gain it back, my acne flared up like crazy...
I had a short period after getting it put in and then skipped the next month's period. All of the side effects calmed down, for the most part, by the end of the second month. I had a normal period in March, and then April I bled more days than I didn't (drove my boyfriend crazy).
So it's been pretty unpredictable so far, but it certainly does its job. When I got it put in I told myself that so long as my sex drive wasn't affected and I wasn't in crazy amounts of pain, I was good, and so far so good on those fronts so I'm sticking with it.

I’ve found it amazing! Got it September 2017 and for the first month or so I had occasional really light bleeding so just wore a panty liner, then the bleeding completely stopped. I have no periods, no mood swings, absolutely none of the side effects xo
