Relationship help!

I currently have a crush on my best friend. She is super nice! We cuddle all the time but in a friendly way. I get excited when I’m around her and I really wanna be with her. But I’ve seen her turn down girls before and she is cruel. I don’t know what to do... She always helps me when I need it. Some of my other friends know I have a crush on her. Once we were playing dirty truth or dare and my dare was to kiss her but I chickened out and kissed her on the cheek. My friend just told us to be lesbian couple already. She got asked who would she date in the room and she said me, the I got asked the same thing and I said her. She just ignored the topic and continued... What do I do?

P.S: her mom is homophobic and I don’t want to get her in trouble but I really like her...
