8 week ultrasound???

Hey friends!! I have an 8 week ultrasound scheduled and I’m just wondering if it’ll be transvaginal or abdominal because I need to mentally prepare myself lol.

Mine was abdominal. They usually only do abdominal ultrasounds at doctors offices

Tech did abdominal first but didn’t see everything she wanted to so ended up doing transvaginal as well.

Depends where you get it done. I was under 8 weeks and it was abdominal but most everyone else around my town has had transvaginal until they hit around 10-12 weeks

I don’t know. I’m having my 8 week scan this Friday. But I will say, I’ve had a transvaginal ultrasound before. Doesn’t hurt one bit! If that’s what you’re worried about lol
