So my baby will be turning one next month and I wanted to get him a smash cake but concerned about too much sugar 🤔 any recommendations

We are doing a chocolate smash cake.. It’s no a all the time thing, she doesn’t typically get a lot of sugar, and she won’t eat all of it so I am okay with her having it on her birthday!

YouTube and Pinterest have good recipes using bananas or applesauce as natural sweeteners. There's also the vegan no bake mudcake.

They’re smashing it, not eating the whole thing. You’re literally making a cake for them to play with lol I wouldn’t be concerned about the sugar content but there are tons of sugar free recipes out there if you want them.
