Gift basket for nursing staff

First of all, I’m a nurse in the Pediatric ICU, so I know first hand that nurses do not expect gifts, nor will they treat their patients (and families) any differently if they do or not receive gifts. However, I do know that we appreciate even the smallest gesture.

If you’re planning on bringing your nursing staff a gift basket, what are you planning on putting in it?

I’m thinking of leaving a basket in my room of things like k-cups, candy, gum, granola bars, more candy ;) for the staff that I have direct contact with (and then just leaving it for the unit when Henry and I leave).

Just looking for any more ideas that you all might have.

Geeze, Louise....I can’t believe I’m finally at this point in my pregnancy where I’m thinking about this.
