Was this insensitive of him?

Husband doesn’t have a job. I am a full time med student with very painful health problems requiring weekly dr visits. He doesn’t clean, cook, or do anything except make phone calls occasionally and some things on the Internet. I am in the middle of writing a 20 page paper that is 30% of my grade due tomorrow (I just had two big exams and another paper) and said I was going to take a break after writing for hours in one sitting.

He then said “want to go feed the dogs and make dinner?” and I got upset. I said “seriously?” and he responded “it’s a break from studying” as he lies in bed eating chips on his computer.

He’s acting like I’m angry for no reason. I’m too tired. Was he insensitive?
