I don’t see why you shouldn’t talk to her? Your mom sounds cool - she’s being very supportive of the fact you are growing up and have sexual needs. Like someone else said, if you don’t want to masturbate, just tell her that. And if you do, she will support you. Kind of a win win situation imo

I think you should talk to her, you don’t have to say everything, you might not even say anything, let her talk to you. If you feel you’re too young then tell her, It might help to say you were uncomfortable with the talk so you asked for advice if to talk or not? I think you should be honest with her and say what you need to straight out. She’s your mum, what’s she going to do other than support you? Talk to her, like everyone else said, and let her know how you feel! Really all I have to add is that I wish my mom had been this supportive growing up. Story time!
One day that stands out was when I was 16 and it was my mom's birthday. She was pretty vague about her plans for the day, made it sound like we were going out to lunch. Ended up at some sexual health clinic? Where, before entering, she said something along the lines of, "I know you've been having sex, hoe. We're gonna go see if you've caught anything yet." Made them test me, tried to follow me into the room (thankfully they asked me and I got to say no to her following 🙃), and then at the end took my little envelope of complimentary assorted condoms and threw them all out because, "You don't need these, you're not having sex anymore."
