When did you stop saying/showing inappropriate tv etc or curse words around LO?

When did you stop watching tv or videos you wouldn't want LO to see when you were around them? When did you stop using language you didn't want LO to understand/use around them? I hope this poll is clear. Feel free to comment please

I don’t sensor myself too much and neither does my husband. My 6 year knows not to repeat bad words and I’ll teach my 17 month old the same.  We did go through a repeating phase when my oldest was younger so I’m expecting it with my youngest.  I was taught the same thing. I was raised at the ballpark with my dad lol.  I heard stuff but knew better not to repeat it too.  As far as tv, I don’t watch stuff with sex or anything but some stuff may have bad words...

When my son started babbling and we noticed he was picking up words here and there. The last think I need him to do is drop the f bomb on my parents who are very religious.

I never censored myself. my son is now 4 and knows what adult words are and not to use them. as for tv, I immediately stopped watching things that aren't kid friendly. I kept pbs kids on pretty often.

As soon as my daughter started watching the tv. She stares at it open-mouthed practically and I didn't want her to absorb horrible things. It also made me more aware of what I'm watching I'm general.
