What the heck do in our hospital bags?

Im 35w & am packing mine & my daughters hospital bags tonight, I don’t know where to even start, what do I pack for both of us? Anything special I should pack that helps w after labor?

Your daughter can stay with you? My hospital only allowed spouses to stay overnight! That’s pretty cool. 
You don’t need much honestly. If you pack too much you’ll be overwhelmed trying to get everything home when you have baby as well. 
Most of the time you’ll be in a hospital gown and baby will be swaddled so I only packed one going home outfit for both of us that was comfy. I packed basic hygiene items (deodorant, lotion, brush) and a charger for my phone and that was really it. 
The hospital provided me with mesh underwear, towels and soap, they gave us diapers and wipes for baby free of charge,  pillow and blanket, a blanket for baby and food so I didn’t need much else. If you don’t know what your hospital will provide, call and ask to speak to labor and delivery and find out.

Going home outfit for you both, your own shampoo and stuff if you really want it. Phone charger, a book in case you’re in labor for a while. Honestly you don’t need much since you’ll be in a gown and they usually want the baby to just be in a diaper swaddled the entire stay. Bring some underwear you won’t mind getting ruined if your hospital doesn’t provide disposable ones!

with my first daughter I didn't really pack much but then had my mom bring me a few cute outfits for pictures and her going home so this time around I have several cute outfits and a pretty swaddle blanket! The boppy pillow really came in handy if you have one!  for me just some undies baggy clothes and toiletries. We live less then 5 minutes from the hospital so my husband can run home for his stuff! I will have another c sections so I plan to be there at least two nights but you really don't need much! the hospital will provide you with what you need

Just pack clothes for both of you. And some stuff you think you want. Different people want different things. They will have everything you need though.
