Is it possible my dog senses that I may be pregnant?

Normally Jackson(my dog) lays on the love seat and not on my big couch with me. This past week he’s been following me around a lot and he started laying next to me with his head on my belly almost every chance he gets. Is it possible he can sense that I might be pregnant?

Pre-pregnancy I'm pretty sure my dog viewed me as just an extra warm body in our house. He's always loved me but him and my husband have an unbreakable bond. My husband  got in a horrible car accident and was severely depressed, in pain and out of work for 6 months so we got our boy Boss hoping he'd be therapeutic. They spent everyday together for 4.5 months and husband has been his #1... until now! He comes up to me every single night and just lays across me. He's also completely stopped jumping up on me. I love him 💕

My mother in law’s little dog sat with me and had her head on my belly the entire time I was pregnant! I’ve read they can sense it and that they know!

Yep. I’d always wake up with my dog lying his head on my tummy when I was pregnant with my first. Each time I’ve been pregnant he becomes very clingy and overprotective.

pretty sure dogs just know when their human is pregnant , my fur baby holly = my staffy × nz hunterway is way more protetive of me than usual and rests her head next to or on my belly like shes already trying to guard her new little human , im 29 weeks pregnant and its pretty easy to say she knew i was pregnant before i did.
