I cannot be the only person annoyed by this...

This guy invited me randomly to go to this Star Trek thing, I’m one of those “if it’s planned far enough out, sure, why not” kinda people. I’m an introvert, I do not go do a lot of stuff by choice. I also hate spending money on stupid stuff. Second time this has happened, I might mention. He asks me if I wanna do this thing, meh, not a baseball fan. But I like Star Trek and I love orange and black stuff. So, I agreed, something to do in August, I guess....and then, he hits me with the cost and says “I’ll buy tickets as soon as you pay me.” Like, no?? Maybe lead with the $50 ticket cost? I’ve got better shit to spend my money on than a one night event 3 hours away for a sport I don’t even like 🙄 I feel like if you invite me and don’t lead with cost, I get the feeling you’re paying or it’s cheap. I could spend that money on food, or makeup. Or literally anything else that will last me more than a 6 hour total drive. But now, I feel like an ass, because I agreed but I don’t wanna send him fucking money for that. Please tell me I’m not the only one annoyed by this? Like, I don’t wanna have to ask every single time if he’s gonna be paying and sound like a bitch, but I would not have agreed if I knew the ticket cost.
