Baby girl was born! 37 + 5!

Baby girl Kiyah Elizabeth was born at 37 weeks + 5 days on 4/29 at 4:44pm. She weighs a whole 5 pounds 12oz. Perfectly healthy happy tiny baby. We are so in love. I woke up soaked and assumed I had probably peed, and changed and headed back to bed. Around 30 minutes or so later I realized I was wet again, and I knew I hadn’t peed. So I changed again, and went to finish cleaning the bottles, I started having minor contractions while I was cleaning but nothing unbearable. I noticed I was leaking A LOT, so I woke my husband and we went to the hospital. Water was definitely broken, and she had very little fluid, which was causing her heart rate to drop with every contraction, so they did an IV into my uterus to give her some fluid. So I was 3 1/2 cm around 11am, contractions started REALLY picking up and around 1:30-2 I was at a 6. I begged for the epidural, and because the hospital was so busy I ended up getting it in the triage room. They moved me to my room about an hour later, and I was at a 7. I relaxed for about and hour and a half or so, the nurse checked me again and I was at a 10. 20 minutes of pushing and baby girl was here!
