Shaving tips for anyone who might need it 🧖🏼‍♀️

Courtney

I’ve seen a ton of posts asking about shaving and I thought I’d share some tips of mine that have helped me steer clear of razor burn and other stuff.

First off make sure you exfoliate the area with a loofah of some sort (whatever you use to wash your body).

Second, make sure your razor is either a new blade or a sharp blade (if you can’t remember when you changed blades/razors you might want to change it asap!). A dull blade causes more cuts and harm than a sharp one!

Third, apply shaving cream, conditioner, soap, whatever you use to shave. (I personally prefer using baby oil then using soap over the oil for a softer/smoother shave).

Then you should be good to go!

For anyone that gets razor burn (whether on your vag, armpits or legs) I highly recommend trying out NIVEA post shave balm. Its in the men’s section of shaving and it has a light cologne smell but it definitely helps razor burn! Just apply it after a shower/bath to the affected area 🤗
