Hates food?
My daughter had been given the opportunity to feed herself solids as well as having me offer purées to her. I have given her many meals of normal food (similar to a BLW approach) but NOTHING goes into her mouth. She doesn't like to put toys in her mouth too often either, just her fingers, feet and the boob (absolutely no bottles or pacifiers). When I offer purees I touch the spoon to her lips and let her "taste" what I'm offering but if she doesn't want more then I don't force it on her. I started with carrots, sweet potatoes etc. but now I have been offering much sweeter things (apples, pears, mangoes, peaches, dragon fruit, etc). I'm worried this could be a sign of autism. Should I contact the pediatrician or just let her wait until she's ready to start eating?
