What to call grandparents

Anyone else’s inlaws already demand to be called a certain name or once baby is born? My parents are fine with what ever my child wants to call them. But my MIL is demanding to be called Nana. Like my child will call you what he/she wants 🙄😂  pregnancy has made me super annoyed with everyone

I asked my mom what she preferred. She said Nana and her husband was going to be Grandpa. For some reason my son started calling him poppy. No one promoted him to do that. So that's what he went with.

I think it’s just your hormones. Becoming a grandparent is a very special part of life (just as becoming a parent is).  I think grandma is just excited (assuming she wasn’t rude about it).
