Home remedies for soft hair??

So my hair is really long (photo attached) and generally it gets dry with the change of seasons (it's fall here now) so I was wondering if there are any home remedies to get my hair nice and soft??? 😁💕

If your hair already has a good level of proteins, coconut oil will do more harm than good. Just want to warn you.

I put coconut oil all over my hair and wrap it. Keep it wrapped for a while then wash it out. I’ll put the oil in after dinner and let it sit until I take a shower before bed.
