Just wanted to make this post for all the women that may be in the same or similar situation I had been in. I do struggle with PCOS but my cycles are usually 30-32 days with the occasional 35-38 day cycle. When cd30 came around and went, I thought nothing of it. Same with cd31. Cd32 I decided to test, which in turn was negative. No biggie. I figured it was one of my longer cycles. Cd35 and 36 came and went. Cd37 I decided to test again. No positive. I figured my period would be one it’s way tomorrow. Cd38, no period. Okay? I have gained some weight, maybe it’s made my PCOS symptoms a little worse. I figured maybe it was going to be a REALLY long cycle. Cd39, I tested again. Stark white. Same for Cd40, 41, 42. Not even a hint of a line. Before bed on cd43, I test again. I THINK I see a shadow but literally it looked like almost nothing. I chalked it up to a due run. Cd44 around lunchtime, test again. Looks the same as last nights test. So I take another. At this point I’m not sure if I’m seeing anything but all my other negatives were stark white and these just weren’t. I decide to buy a more expensive brand, frer. Low and behold, a faint but clear as day positive. My cycles are never longer than 38 days, I couldn’t and can’t believe I didn’t get my positive until 2 days ago on Cd44. So when they say, you’re not out until af shows, believe it because our bodies are such mysteries that no matter how hard we track them, they seem to surprise us in the end. I might add, this cycle I did not take my Clomid and seemed to have happened all on its own. Exactly 3 years ago on the same day, I tested positive with my first 💗 good luck and baby dust to all!
