I got pregnant with my daughter when I was 15. Immediately after having her (well, 6 weeks) I got the Mirena IUD. The IUD stopped my periods all together. I kept the Mirena in for 3 years and decided I wanted to ttc baby #2. I got my Mirena taken out and in less than two months I was pregnant. I hadn't even gotten a real period yet. I bled very lightly for about 3 days and that was it. So, basically, I haven't had a real period in a very long time. 😂 After I have this baby I don't plan on getting the Mirena because I didn't actually like how it made me stop getting periods.. It felt very unnatural. 😕
