Just found out I have herpes...

Sooo I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 years and I just found out I’m positive for oral and vaginal herpes. I don’t even know what to say or do. I told him and he’s freaking out telling me he’s sorry and all this but i don’t even know how to feel right now. Like what do I do? I know he hasn’t cheated so he must of had it all along and this just happens to be a time I have an outbreak especially because I’m so stressed from school and work. They gave me a medication for it. But how should I feel and act right now. Ugh
