What handle naps/awake time for cat napper (40-ish minutes)

How old is your LO? Generally a sleep cycle is about 45 minutes and babies under 6 months have trouble transferring to another sleep cycle, especially during naps. My LO is 3.5 months and usually wakes up at the 45 min mark during a nap so I will go in and put my hand on his chest and shush him back to sleep and he will sleep another 45 mins or so. Maybe few times a week he will sleep a full 1.5 - 2 hours.

Keep him up longer. He’s probably not that sleepy yet if he’s not sleeping long
