Does pooping a lot mean labor is here or on its way? I'm 38 weeks and 4 days baby head right by hole and I'm 2 cm dilated... Does it mean labor near Bc I poop a lot

I literally just googled this exact question. I'm on iron pills and I was constipated for a while when I first started taking them and out of no where I went from constipation to soft bowel movements like 2 times a day! I hope that's what it means because I'm ready for my baby! 😊

Oh man I kind of hope not because of so this baby is never coming out! I haven't been able to besides a tiny bit all week!! Baby dropped and I feel like its blocking it lol.

I'm at the same point as you and I've had between 3-5 bowel movements everyday this week but nothing else yet!

I'm not sure, I've been the same and I'm 37 weeks 1 day and dilated to 3 cm 60% effaced. My bag of waters is bulging about 1 cm into the cervix so I feel like it should be breaking soon! But it hasn't. And I've been pooping once or twice atleast every day. I kept reading about castor oil and tried it a week ago but honestly I'm already pooping so much I don't think it made a difference lol this is my second baby. My first water broke at 39 weeks and I was 3 cm dilated 80% effaced but I wasn't pooping pretty much at all because iron pills made me constipated.
