A collection of dimes and quarters worth $9.25. There are 46 coins in all. Find how many of each there are. How many dimes are there?

Answer

15 dimes 31 quarters if my mental math is right. 
Idk how to tell you how I solved it other than the way I was taught to count down my drawer at CFA.
