Is our name too similar??!

We decided on our girl name months ago (7months pregnant atm) but then my husband asked last night if it’s too similar to his cousin’s little girls name and now I can’t stop wondering! 
We really want the name Elle. Short, sweet and simple but their girl is called Ella! Does this matter? We see them once a year... 
(I could be stressing over nothing as we haven’t found out the gender but I love having everything sorted)

They sound similar but it doesn’t matter at all, it’s your baby!! It would be different if it was his brother or something but it’s his cousin! No big deal

I know cousins named Alisha and Alexis somebody got their names mixed up and Alexis tried to correct him and then he said " Blame your Mamas for naming you so close together. " I don't think that was appropriate but it might happen as they grow up, I think it's cute to be named close together.

They’re different and I wouldn’t not name my kiddo a name I loved because of a cousin I see maybe once a year. Love the name Elle! So cute! :)

I have the name Scarlett pick out and my brother in-law little girl name Charlotte its not the same name I say go for it

I have a cousin by an aunt named Jannah and another cousin by an uncle that’s named Jenna. Growing up they thought it was cool and you could see it connected them. 
No one in the family or outside the family cares/cared
