Camping with a newborn?

Soo hubby wants to
Go Camping in September. Baby boy will be about 2 months old then. Is this something that is doable? Could there be concerns or dangers with
Camping with such a little
Baby? We have a 4 year old and hubby wants to make sure our 4 year old gets to do fun family trips and doesn't want a new baby to stop us.

My mom has a picture of me her and my older sister out in the woods camping :) I'm butt ass naked and only a couple months old and my sister was barely two. I would just make sure you know where the closest town and convenience stores are and maybe go camping at one of those spots with rangers or what have you instead of total middle of no where camping. Though my mom hated those places so we were middle of no where and we survived...

I'm not too sure about this one.. You may not be comfortable going camping that early on.. All you can do it wait & see how you feel about it once he's here.

I'd say yes especially since you'll be sleeping in a cabin. Try and look for baby safe bug repellent and look for mosquito nets to put over his car seat or rocker while he's outside.  Try to search it on Pinterest and see what are some unthought of essentials! I love camping and have also thought of some concerns about it as well. I understand your husband my daughter is four and we worry she will miss out on the summer bc of baby being so little.

Babyganics at babies r us has a really safe bug spray that has SPF in it which is really important for that fresh baby skin to be outside majority of the time. I would also make sure you have like a baby hat and maybe some sort of outdoor blanket and umbrella to lay the baby under and a baby carrier that you wear. Will you have cell phone service or a telephone where you are? Always good to check that also in case anything should happen.

My only concern would be Mosquitos. Do they have baby bug stuff? Otherwise I say do it!

I went camping with my son when he was 6 weeks old ( in a tent) and plan on camping this summer with my new baby who will be about the same.  It just takes some planning and thinking about what you will need, but it can def be done and be fun!

My daughter went camping at 4 weeks! It was perfectly fine. Just make sure there is shade for baby, or create shade. And take a baby safe bug repellant. I have heard that baby oil cream works well.
