Was your HSG before or after Clomid?

Question

Have you ever had a hysterosalpingogram done? If so, was it done before or after Clomid? 
I’m currently on my 3rd round of Clomid and my doc said if this round is also unsuccessful then the next steps is an HSG test. 
Should this have been done before Clomid?

I was set to get my HSG the same month I ended up conceiving.  It was also my first month on clomid! 💙😊

Just had my HSG two days ago (everything was great) the pain sucked! But in a week I’ll start the medication to help me with ovulation :) 🤞🏻

I had my HSG the same month I started Clomid. Took Clomid days 3-7 and then had my HSG on day 10. I got pregnant my first cycle. My HSG was normal but I feel like it help clean out my pipes.
