When is gender able to get determined by normal ultrasound

Just curious when is the earliest you can find out the gender by doing a regular ultrasound? Did anyone end up finding out earlier than 16 weeks?

I found out at the anatomy scan at 18 weeks. I think if you go get a private ultrasound you can find out earlier however prior to 16 weeks they can still be wrong because the genitals are still forming 🤷

We paid for an elective ultrasound at 14 weeks.

I found out at 15 weeks at a private ultrasound BUT sometimes that’s too early. I’m having a boy though so it was pretty obvious

I paid for private scan at 14 weeks and 16 weeks to find out the sex off my daughter. It was right both times. I now have a beautiful healthy almost 16 week old daughter!

I wouldn’t do sooner then 16. That’s when I found out and they are so tiny it would have been so easy to get it wrong any sooner in my opinion.

14 weeks at a private clinic via ultrasound, 9 weeks via blood test, or your anatomy scan between 18-22 weeks
