Who did you first tell when you started your period for the first time?

LOL I was in 5th grade! My Dad picked me up from school. I got in the truck and he asked me how my day was and I said “I started my period” and he turned the radio down and said “you mean with blood”? I said “yes” and he turned the radio back up and we didn’t say another word. When we got home, my stepmom talked to me. It’s so funny to this day!! He just turned the knob on the stereo up and we kept going 😂😂

I had brown stains in my underwear and thought I pooped and didn’t know it 🤦‍♀️ I told my mom and she told me it was my period.

My dad 😂😂 My mom passed before I hit that stage in my life. I remember waking up to blood in my underwear so I woke him up and he said “didn’t you learn about that stuff in school” 😱😩😂🤦🏾‍♀️ like no dad why am I bleeding 😂😂😂

i said mom but it was my grandma, who was basically my mom. she then proceeded to call my mom and aunt to tell them i was officially a woman -.- i was mortified.

I was in fifth grade and it was Christmas Eve/day. I was trying to stay up and watch Bad Santa, then I felt unbearably hot and I was cramping. Looked down and noticed I was bleeding. Went to my parents’ room while they were sleeping. My mom told me to get a pad from under her sink and went back to sleep. So I put the pad on and stayed up until Christmas morning and opened my presents. It wasn’t until my next period my mom taught me how to properly use a pad and tampon (the tampon hurt so I didn’t use one until high school).

I was at my dads house for the weekend so I had to tell my dads live-in girlfriend. She was amazing! She didn’t make me feel weird at all, my mother hadn’t talked to me about periods so I was totally clueless.
