When you are home alone and you go to the bathroom, where do you put your toddler?

I let her roam but she usually wants to come on the bathroom with me. She has a training toilet that she will sit on.

leave the door open and let him roam he usually ends up in there with me anyway

I have baby gates on both doors to the living  room so I just leave him in there. Right now leaving him in his room leads to him emptying his drawers and taking all his books off the shelves.

It’s always me and my son I have no friends, husband or boyfriend so when I go to the toilet I take my son into the bathroom and he just plays with the taps on the bath and I’m constantly telling him no when he tries to do stuff he shouldn’t be doing. Which means i can’t even have a piss in peace

Now they are 1 and 2. They just are confined to the living room. Our bathroom is right there so I can still hear them.
