Sent home?

Question

My contractions were as close as 3minutes, and are regularly 5-6minutes but I’m not dilating. They are extremely painful..They sent me home, has anyone had experience with this? 
I would think they’d just take him out or give me something at least. I really can’t deal with contracting for 6 more days until my induction. 
Someone help me 😭

Yes. I went in with contractions that were 5-7 min apart. I was only dilated to a 2 and they said the contractions were not intense enough. Went home and had consistent contractions for 12 hours at home and then decided to go back. I still wasn’t dilated to a 4 which is when the hospital I deliver at admits you. They had me walk around L&D; for an hour and even though I still wasn’t a 4 they admitted me. I’m pretty sure my husband begged them to just let me stay. Admitted at 9 pm, epidural at 11. Epidural stopped progress so I was given pitocin at 1 am. Slept from 2-6. Baby was born at 7:15.

lol I understand how horrible those first ones are, maybe call your doctor/midwife and ask for a sweep. that got things going for me

I was only dilated to a 2.5-3 when my water broke and was having contractions (that I couldn’t even feel) that were anywhere from 1-3 or 5-7 minutes apart . Had my water not broken I would’ve been sent home as well. But because it had I was admitted and then after a few hours of not dilating further was put on pitocin and the nurses had me walking and bouncing on a ball which actually helped dilation ALOT. Maybe take some Tylenol and try walking or doing squats?
