In need of stories/support
so a little background about what’s been going on. at my 20 week anatomy scan baby boy was very healthy and weighing above average but my cervix was measuring a little short at 2.5 cm. they weren’t too worried bc it was mildly short and i didn’t have any reason it was short i was just probably born with it. once a week for about a month i went back so they could keep an eye on it and nothing had really changed and it was staying consistent. well the next week i went back again and i have no clue what happened but all of a sudden it was funneling and went down to about .9-1cm and then i was sent to the hospital for monitoring and so i could see a high risk doctor in the morning. so the next morning they did another ultrasound and my cervix had went back up to 2.1 and they said i had an infection which might be causing it. so i went home and was put on progesterone and antibiotics and told to come back in a week. so this thursday i went for another ultrasound and it is back down to 1.1 cm with funneling and now i have a yeast infection. they gave me medicine for the infection and prescribed me vaginal progesterone and i’m going back next week and still on bed rest. currently i’m at 24+6 and i’m absolutely terrified. i just want to know if anyone else has gone through this and carried their baby to term without a cerclage and what might help to keep this baby in and if things might turn out okay. i’m just so scared and in need of reassurance
