I want to go darker but I don’t know if I should get this colour or lighter this is my hair colour now

And I want to get that kinda colour should I go for it?

I don't know what your face looks like so it's hard to say but I like that dark brown color you posted!

You shouldn’t have to lighten your hair at all if you’re going darker brown. If you were adding an unnatural color, then that would depend on the shade. For example, I have dark brow hair and dyed it blue. I had to lighten my hair to bright blond to get the shade I wanted.
