If you have had one, how painful in the comments?

The first time was pretty painful....but SOOOO worth it!!!! I have super sensitive skin just regularly and I thought there would be nooo way I could do it, but I did and I love it! My waxer knows to use extra powder on me just because if my sensitive skin. 🤣 Unfortunately, my hair grows so fast, that I am on a 3-week schedule instead of the regular schedule, but it is definitely less painful subsequent times. The key is to not wait so long for the next wax that just as much hair grew back in to the point it is like your first time getting waxed. The more hair = the more pain.

It’s not horrendous if your hairs are short. Also, try not to get it right before your period because your skin is much more sensitive than the usual. Get it girl! 😉

First time was pretty painful not going to lie but the results are so worth it and it is less painful every time. I've been waxing for years. Always start out getting it done professionally. I do my own now after getting comfortable enough and asking the salon the best way to do it at home.

As pretty much everyone else has said, the first time is the worst. Get a good exfoliator and keep up on a good schedule. When I’m not using my exfoliator, I get ingrowns that drive me nuts bc i feel like it’s less pretty. I also made the mistake of cancelling an appointment once and then getting lazy and not rescheduling for weeks... Girl, that next appointment hurt way worse than the first time. It was awful so now I never miss my appointments or reschedule unless it’s within the week. The initial nerves make it out to be worse than it is. For me, it’s worth it. I love the benefits of waxing.

It’s not so bad. Actually I found being so exposed was worse than the waxing! I’m so shy that I found the pain to be a good distraction from my embarrassment haha. But I strongly recommend having sugaring done. I was getting waxed and then switched to sugar and I will never go back! Way less painful and less ingrowns. Lasts longer too! I get it done every 5 weeks or so.

First 3 times are typically painful (the first is the worst). After that, it’s pretty easy. I love getting waxed, makes me feel clean & pretty

Lol okay so the first time I got one, I had taken 2 shots and some painkillers beforehand.
It was painful but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Granted that could have been the alchy talking (I'm a super lightweight) but I've gotten it done multiple times after that and it's still not that bad.
Also, I'm a baby about pain so I was surprised I was fine lol

Eh take a Motrin 30 min before and you will be fine as long as your girl knows what she is doing.
But it’s so worth it.

Did it every 4-5 weeks for 5 years it hurts but not that bad obviously if i didnt it for 5 years. I stopped now tho cus it gives me more ingrowns than shaving did
